Kevin Chomintra
Kevin Chomintra has been living in Las Vegas for the better part of 10 years. One of those transplants from Southern California, he moved here to attend college at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
After being devastated by the thought of taking math beyond calculus, he decided to change his major from computer science to communications, being particularly interested in public relations, advertising and marketing.
He has worked as an intern at Mayor Oscar Goodman’s office and spent two years getting to know the ins and outs of the gaming industry by working in the casino marketing department of two Las Vegas hotel-casinos.
During the days he’s probably plugging away at some computer somewhere and at night he’s probably taking down a drink or three at the local pub. Although he spends a great deal of time watching the Food Network, culinary forays have resulted in no less than six occasions of food poisoning.
He has a well-documented, fervent love for breakfast burritos and never chases his shots.
In April 2007, he was the only member of his family not traveling the world. He remains bitter about it to this day.
