Top-notch comedians are making their way to Las Vegas to perform at the all-new LA Comedy Club at Palace Station Hotel & Casino. The LA Comedy Club is now open nightly and features two comedians, both of headlining caliber, in The Showroom at Palace Station.

The LA Comedy Club is the brainchild of Bill Voelkner and Joaquin Trujillo of Bill Voelkner Productions. The two got their start in comedy at the Maxim Comedy Club in Las Vegas several years ago. Along with former Maxim colleague Matt Chavez who serves as the booking agent for LA Comedy Club, Voelkner and Trujillo are utilizing this relationship to bring in some of the best comedians in the industry for the new show. In Las Vegas, Bill Voelkner Productions also represents entertainers Mac King, Vinnie Favorito, Tim Gabrielson of Keep it Funny and Michael Johns and Terry Stokes of Dirty (Hypnosis Unleashed).

Palace Station is located on Sahara Avenue adjacent to Interstate 15 and just west of the Las Vegas Strip. Palace Station is located at 2411 W. Sahara Avenue. Call (702) 367-2411

The LA Comedy Club hosts two hour-long shows nightly, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. in the intimate 150-seat venue at Palace Station. Tickets are $24.95 each and include either two drinks inside the showroom or a meal at the Palace Station Feast Buffet that must be redeemed within seven days of purchase date. The featured comedians will alternate every one to two weeks, splitting their time on stage equally. Tickets are available for purchase by calling (702) 574-5300, online at www.palacestation.com or at the Palace Station Box Office. Following is the August lineup:

August 6 – August 12

Sean Corvelle has moved quickly up the comedy scene with his laid back style and instant likeability. While based in San Francisco, Corvelle performs in clubs across the country and has opened for famed acts such as Barry White, Kenny G, Al Jareau, The Four Tops, The Temptations, James Brown and Little Richard. He's enjoyed success in the commercial world, including hosting a travel show for the Discovery Channel. Corvelle is also a television actor, recognized from his many TV pilot appearances and guest starring roles in sitcoms such as “Friends” and “Ned and Stacy.”

Born and raised in Warren, Ohio, Tim O'Rourke made the move to Los Angeles 15 years ago, where for nine years he played Tim the Bartender on the “Drew Carey Show.” O’Rourke has appeared on several other TV programs, including “An Evening at the Improv,” “Comedy on the Road” and “Showtime: Comedy Club All Stars.” O’Rourke uses his other talents making small films and for the past year and a half has provided many of the hilarious voices for FOX Network’s animated series “The Family Guy.”
