Clark County Easter egg hunt this Saturday
Clark County Parks and Recreation presents Bunny Boogie: A Family Fair and Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 7, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Clark County Government Center Amphitheater. The event’s co-sponsors are 100.5 Jack FM Radio and Prevent Child Abuse Nevada (PCA), an affiliate of the Area Health Education Center of Southern Nevada. Admission and parking* are free.
Bunny Boogie features three egg hunts for children in the following three age categories and time slots:
Children ages 1-3 at 1 p.m.
Children ages 4-6 at 2 p.m.
Children ages 7-10 at 3 p.m.
During each hunt, more than 25,000 plastic eggs will be spread on the grassy grounds of the amphitheater. Children will then trade in their eggs for candy donated by 100.5 Jack FM. Other planned family activities include carnival games, face painting, balloon artists and character appearances from a bunny, duck and chick. The first 1,000 children at the event will receive a bunny goody bag.
Scheduled family entertainment on the amphitheater stage will include Sign Design Theater, a children’s sign language performing group; and a kids cooking demonstration. “Thraxx,” the Las Vegas Gladiators Mascot and the Gladiators’ cheerleading team, also will be in attendance.
*Families attending Bunny Boogie are reminded to access Clark County's Outdoor Amphitheater from Charleston Boulevard via Grand Central Parkway. Several road closures will be in effect downtown due to the Vegas Grand Prix event. Only members of the public attending the egg hunt will be allowed to park at the Government Center on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
