Renaissance Festival returns to Las Vegas Oct. 12-14

The Clark County’s Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival will be returning to Sunset Park, October 12-14. The annual event will feature costumed performers, historical re-enactments, medieval pageantry and more than 100 artisans – including blacksmiths, stained glass designers, jewelers, wood workers, toy makers, perfume blenders, stone carvers and sword, dagger and armor craftsman.

The Festival will also feature jousting tournaments, gladiator battles, black powder demonstrations, strolling minstrels, contortionists, sheep herders, magicians, storytellers, jokers, jugglers, flame eaters, belly dancers, trained parrots and pirates.

Authentic food, from fish and chips to an English feast, also will be available as well as beer and ales for adults with proper identification. According to the website, mead will also be available.

Let me tell you something, if you ever have an opportunity to drink delicious mead, you take it.

Admission will be $10.00 per day for adults or $25.00 for 3 days; Seniors 60+ and Children $5.00 per day or $10.00 for 3 days.
