CCSN nears 35, launches new website
It’s not everyday that a nearly 35 year-old institution reinvents itself. But with a go-getter president and talented support staff, not to mention generous donors, for the past year-and-a-half the Community College of Southern Nevada has been about proving it’s not about the same old, same old.
Today CCSN launched a redesigned website with thousands of great looking, informative pages. Site visitors can now access information without the frustration that so often accompanied the previous version of the site.
Some cool new home page features include:
- Recent news and upcoming events
- Quick links to Online Learning and the Division of Workforce and Economic Development
In addition, a much needed structure change was implemented, bringing the site into conformity with most institutions of higher learning, allowing the visitor to enter the site through one of five categories of users: 1) prospective students, 2) current students, 3) international students, 4) alumni, parents & friends, and 5) faculty & staff.
Congratulations to CCSN, now the nation’s third largest multi-campus community college, on a terrific new website!
