Cubis Financial offers prepaid gift card to help fund the fight against breast cancer

CBC-gift-card.jpgOctober is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and there’s a novel way for those involved to fund the fight against a malady that will strike one in seven women in their lifetime.

It’s the CureBreastCancer.org Prepaid MasterCard® Gift Card. Basically the prepaid card works this way: A card purchased for $100 will result in about $8 going to Cure Breast Cancer, Inc., the organization headed by Dr. Ernie Bodai, to support breast cancer awareness, education and outreach.

How does one buy the prepaid gift card? Go to the Web site at BreastCancerCard.com to apply by filling out the data fields. A pre-paid gift card can be purchased for one’s self or a friend, relative or business associate. The card can have a minimum value of $25 or a maximum value of $300. Purchasers receive their cards in the mail within five to seven business days after placing their order.

Who is Ernie Bodai, M.D.? He’s the mastermind behind the U.S. Postal Service Breast Cancer Research Stamp. Launched in 1998, it was the first fund-raising stamp in U.S. history. To date, 800 million of those stamps have been sold, raising nearly $70 million for breast cancer research.

Dr. Bodai, a Kaiser Permanente surgeon, also is founder and CEO of Cure Breast Cancer, Inc. com and the author of I Flunked My Mammogram!, What You Need to Know About Breast Cancer Now, and The Breast Cancer Book of Strength and Courage.

The Las Vegas connection? Cubis Financial, Ltd., a Las Vegas-based, technology-driven financial services marketing company, provides its services to link new purchasers with the CureBreastCancer.org Prepaid MasterCard Gift Card. Cubis is a SellingSource.com company.

The prepaid gift cards are issued through First PREMIER Bank, of Sioux Falls, S.D.
