Today’s a sunny day for Gov. Kenny Guinn, or at least a day full of promise.

Right now he’s a patient at Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas receiving a new right hip.

How many of us would like the world to know about our medical procedures? Guess that’s just part of the gig for governors.

Let’s hope Dr. Todd Swanson does his job well and Guinn’s able to check-out as planned on Thursday.

While Guinn’s out we’re in good hands — the hands of Lt. Gov. Lorraine Hunt who’s acting governor for the time being.
