Hip-hop entrepreneur Jay-Z announces 40/40 Club in Las Vegas
Last week hip-hop entrepreneur and former rapper Jay-Z announced that he plans to join the Las Vegas nightlife scene when he opens his new venue, the 40/40 Club.
The new home for this $20 million project will be the Palazzo, a 3,000-room hotel-casino adjoining The Venetian, which houses another Las Vegas restaurant and mega-club, Tao.
Plans for the 24,000-square-foot sports-themed 40/40 Club include 85 plasma-screen televisions; 24 karat gold and platinum flooring; five 40-foot bi-level bars; five VIP rooms; a 3,000-square-foot bar and lounge area on the outdoor terrace.
The club, which is co-owned by business partner Juan Perez, will be the third 40/40 Club with future locations in Tokyo and Macau.
