Las Vegas Huntington Learning Center start-up is among top Wall Street Journal franchises
Huntington Learning Center-Las Vegas, which opened last summer just in time for the current school year, figures among the top 25 high-performing franchises listed by The Wall Street Journal’s Internet-based StartupJournal.
Founded in 1977, New Jersey-based Huntington Learning Center has been franchising for 21 years. Huntington is the nation’s longest-running supplemental education services provider, and a pioneer and leader in the franchise learning center arena. Huntington provides instruction in reading, writing, spelling, phonics, mathematics, study skills and SAT and ACT preparation to tens of thousands of students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
Significantly, Huntington specializes in helping parents, caregivers and educators identify the gaps in skills and knowledge that can limit learning potential, and in providing a personalized program of instruction to enable children to excel.
The Las Vegas franchise, operated by Dr. Audrey Reid, is the first Huntington site in Las Vegas, situated at 6120 West Tropicana Avenue, Suite A13 at Jones Boulevard. Once the first site is thriving, a second site is planned at Ann Road and I-95 according to Dr. Reid.
