Las Vegas skyline growing at Legoland

Miniland USA at Legoland is opening its newest attraction, Miniland Las Vegas, on March 29.

Legoland guests can already see several U.S. cities in miniature, including Washington D.C., New Orleans, New York City, Florida, San Francisco and the Southern California coastline.

We visited Legoland on St. Patrick’s Day and besides the cold costal weather—certainly not Las Vegas’ 90º weather—we had a blast. The kids went from one adventure to another with a Christmas morning look on their faces. And perhaps due to the cooler weather, the ride lines weren’t any longer than 10-15 minutes.

For young families, Legoland offers a great getaway. It’s a bit pricey, but what in Southern California isn’t?

Tip: we learned that if you pay with your American Express or inform the ticket agent of your AAA membership, you’ll get a discount.

Here are a few photos that show the construction progress.
