LVCVA urges final marquee tributes for Goulet from Strip properties
We’re a city of neon and you can consider this the Las Vegas version of the 21-gun salute.
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority invited properties along the Strip to adorn their marquees with a final farewell to Robert Goulet, 73.
According to Norm from the Review Journal, only a select few have ever been so honored, including members of the Rat Pack.
The e-mails invited the businesses to post their send offs from 6 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Goulet, a Las Vegas headliner, died Oct. 30 while awaiting a lung transplant.
