O.J. Simpson arrested in Las Vegas on felony charges; held without bail
After all the highfaluting drama of all the court action he’s seen since 1994, an anonymous phone call may be what brings down O.J. Simpson.
The tip lead to the arrest of Walter Alexander, who is allegedly one of the men involved in the robbery. He was booked on charges of suspicion to commit robbery, burglary with a deadly weapon and two counts each of robbery with a deadly weapon and assault with a deadly weapon. With information provided by Alexander, police drew up three search warrants and served them over the weekend.
The searches turned up alleged stolen property, clothes worn by some of the suspects and two firearms police believe were used in the assault.
Police arrested Simpson without incident at The Palms Casino Resort at about 11:05 a.m. on Sunday morning. He was arrested on several felony charges and is being held without bail until his first court hearing Thursday.
Charges against Simpson include: burglary with a firearm, conspiracy to commit crime, two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
He faces a maximum penalty of 106 years in prison.
Police are searching for four other men involved in the robberies: Las Vegas residents Clarence Stewart, 53, and Michael McClinton, 49, and Tom Scotto, whose age and city of residence are unknown.

Okay people let's get over this. People would not be this issue if the victims were black. I am sooo sick of all these GOD-fearing folks who are suppose to be forgiving..oh I forgot who the victims were...wish my family had that kind of support when my sister was murdered. Goldman's are just money hungry...where was this support when you disowned your son for being gay? People get on with life...we did.
