Third man in O.J. Simpson Las Vegas robbery case takes deal
I was sure hoping I was done writing about this story, but it looks like three of the men involved with O.J. Simpson’s alleged robbery in Las Vegas back in September are opting to testify against The Juice.
Michael McClinton, Charles Cashmore and Walter Alexander will all testify against Simpson and the other men, who face twelve felony charges, which include kidnapping, armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy and coercion.
The kidnapping charge carries a possible sentence of life with parole.
McClinton, who allegedly wielded a gun and pretended to be a police officer, will plead guilty to robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. He faces probation or up to 11 years in prison.
Cashmore, a Las Vegas union laborer, has pleaded guilty to felony accessory to robbery and will receive anywhere between probation and five years in prison.
Alexander told police that Simpson wanted guns, but told him to deny they were used to police. He has pleaded guilty to felony conspiracy to commit robbery and faces probation or up to six years in prison.
