Town Square Las Vegas opens its doors today
Las Vegas gets its newest shopping experience today. The much vaunted Town Square officially opens its doors today and while not all the retail shops will be open, it’s definitely something to check out.
We’ve had the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, the Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood and the Fashion Show Mall on the Strip for years now, but those are all undeniably very touristy. Town Square meanwhile is located south of the Strip and has a much more local feel to it.
Developed by Turnberry Associates, the open-air “lifestyle center” will total 22 buildings, which feature a fusion of Old World design and contemporary architecture.
At the final phase of the opening, the center will tout 150 retail shops, several restaurants, an18-screen movie theatre, interactive children’s park, concert space and more.
People of all interests are sure to find something that interests them. Featured tenants will include an Apple store, H&M, Borders bookstore and Whole Foods Market.
What I’m looking forward to most is Yard House, a restaurant that features the most staggering beer menu I’ve ever seen.
