YTB offers free cruise for U.S. military families

YTB is offering a free cruise from Florida to the Bahamas for U.S. military personnel and their families from May 30 to June 2, 2008.

YTB is a business networking opportunity that provides travel portals to everyday people. The service is like any travel agent service, only the people who sign-up for the travel booking website earn a portion of the travel agent commission.

If it costs the same, why not book your travel through your friends and family instead of those large, heavily advertised online travel sites? That’s YTB’s philosophy.

I recently joined YTB (see CodellaTravel.com) and thought this offer for our military and their families was so incredible that I wanted to share it with Blogging Vegas readers.

Because of the time-sensitive nature of the information, if you know anyone in the U.S. military, or their family members, please tell them about this opportunity now.

YTB International is sponsoring a Bahamas cruise for U.S. military personnel and their families as the company’s way of saluting the men and women of the U.S. armed forces.

The cruise departs from Miami, Florida on Friday, May 30, docks in Nassau, Bahamas the next day, and returns to Miami on June 2.

To be eligible for the cruise, participants must meet these requirements:

  • Be a U.S. citizen

  • Any active duty military personnel with families or the spouse and children of any active duty military personnel

  • Have government issued ID

  • Must be at least 21 years old to travel in your own cabin (those under 21 must be accompanied by someone at least 25 years old)

To apply for the cruise, those who meet the requirements above should send an email to jmurray@ytb.com with the following information:

  • Legal names as written on a birth certificate or driver’s license (limit two names per cabin)

  • Dates of birth for each person

  • Emergency phone numbers

Cabins on the cruise ship are reserved in the order in which reservations are received.

A U.S. passport is not needed to participate in the YTB cruise for military personnel and their families.
